Auto-Updates
How EnviousWispr updates itself.
EnviousWispr checks for updates by itself and tells you when a new version is ready to install. When one arrives, you click to install it, and the app restarts into the updated version.
Checking for updates manually
You can check for a new version at any time, without waiting for the background check to run.
Open settings. Click the EnviousWispr icon in your menu bar and choose Settings.
Check for Updates. Go to the Check for Updates section to start a manual search.
Where updates come from
Every update is downloaded from the official EnviousWispr release page. The app checks the cryptographic signature of every download before installation begins, and any update that fails that check is refused.
Reading the release notes
After each update completes, the What’s New page inside the app lists everything that changed in the version you have moved to.
